Pinterest was my first stop in looking for makeup ideas. White mascara seemed like a good choice for that ephemeral look. But I live in a small town so it was unlikely Priceline would have the product I needed. And one week was not a guarentee for an online order to arrive on time. I needed to consider what I could do with the makeup I already owned.
1: White EyeshadowThis experiment involved putting on my lightest coloured mascara, which was blue. Then I dusted white eyeshadow on top while the mascara was, hopefully, still wet. I would say this was 30% effective. The eyeshadow somewhat stuck, pastelizing the blue mascara. But there was a big negative. I could feel the eyeshadow powder falling into my eyes. I had to wash it all off right after the photo. Products used: Australis MegaLash Mascara in Electric Blue https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Australis-Mega-Lash-Mascara-BLACK-or-Blue-Brand-New-Factory-sealed-SPECIAL-DEAL/113204860438?hash=item1a5b891616:m:mPKTPhamJ5g4f8CJJh2NxNw Morphe eyeshadow pallete 12P, white https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Morphe-Brushes-12-Color-PICASSO-Eye-Shadow-Palette-12P-BNIB-Authentic/202340333920?hash=item2f1c6c7960:g:vssAAOSwy~BaF9U1 2: White Liquid Lipstick
3: White Eyeshadow Crayon
ConclusionIn a pinch, if I didn’t have actual white mascara, I think they eyeshadow crayon would work for giving yourself white eyelashes.
Do you know any other DIY ways of making white eyelashes? Comment and let me know! Until next time, Jess xx
